Oak Grove Water Customers,

On March 11th, 2020, the Governor of the State of Arkansas declared a state of emergency in an effort to curb the transmission of the coronavirus causing COVID-19.  This state of emergency suspended all utility (gas, electric, water) shut-offs due to nonpayment.  This Moratorium is set to expire soon and with its expiration the Oak Grove Water Department will resume normal practices regarding the disconnection of water services to accounts for non-payment in November 2020.

Accounts that have remained unpaid for more than two billing cycles, maybe subject to disconnection.   Notices informing that account maybe shut-off for nonpayment will be sent prior to suspension of services.  If account continues to go unpaid and we are unable contact you, water services may be disconnected.  A $25.00 reconnection fee will be applied to the account at that time.  If unable to pay the full amount by due date, please contact the office to let us know when to expect payment or set up a payment plan.  This will help avoid an interruption of services and reconnection fee.  Termination of your service does not relieve you of your obligation to pay all outstanding bills.  If you have any questions regarding this letter or your account, please contact the office at 870-749-2785.
