The Boil Order for the Town of Oak Grove has been lifted.

The Department of Health has released the ‘Boil Water’ Notice confirmed on 3/21/2022 by Rodney Newman for the Entire System.  This order was issued as a precautionary measure because of the possibility that contaminated water may have entered the distribution system as a result of  complete loss in normal system pressure.

Bacteriological samples taken on Thursday, March 24, 2022 were found to be free of bacterial contamination and a satisfactory disinfectant level has been established throughout the distribution system.  The water is therefore considered ‘Safe’ for human consumption and the ‘Boil Water’ notice is hereby lifted.
